Gig Harbor’s Waterfront Farmers Market is Open – Masks Required
Make plans to visit the Waterfront Farmers Market this Thursday, July 9, from 1-7 p.m. in Skansie Brothers Park. Wear a mask, of course, and take part in this enjoyable summer tradition on the Gig Harbor waterfront.
The Gig Harbor Downtown Waterfront Alliance, which organizes the annual summertime market, invites you to come see what the vendors have for sell every week through Sept. 10. The fun takes place each Thursday, right here in the park next to us at Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard.
“Lots of vendors, plenty of produce, flowers and even a few more crafts this week… visit us with your mask on,” say organizers on the market’s Facebook page. “We help you social distance by controlling the number of folks we let in at a time. That’s just the way it’s going to be for a while. Sanitizer and all the good stuff. We’re having fun in Skansie Park this summer!”

“Market tomorrow, rain or shine!” posted organizers on July 8. Watch their Facebook page for weekly highlights and featured vendors.
So come on down to the harbor, folks. Wear a mask, stay safe by social distancing and enjoy some summer fun on Gig Harbor Waterfront.
