We’re still basking in a very successful Girls Night Out here at Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard, with lots of new members enrolled and winners of our fabulous prizes announced.
The annual event that kicks off the holiday shopping season along the waterfront was held on Nov. 10 and hundreds of women made The Club @ the Boatyard one of their favorite stops. At the end of the day of “Shop & Dine from 10 to 9” sponsored by the Gig Harbor Downtown Waterfront Alliance, we had 451 new members signed up for The Club. Thank you, ladies!
We had a lot to offer the enthusiastic Girls Night Out crowd with rejuvenating chair massages, fantastic prizes and enticing information about all the ‘fun @the boatyard.’
The Club @ the Boatyard Announces Prize Drawing Winners and Enrolls Lots of New Members from Girls Night Out
Hospitality Manager Danielle Taylor and crew doled out a good time along with information on our versatile waterfront event venue, our beautiful Guesthouse on the harbor, and our exciting new guest yacht, the White Lion. John Synco of Gig Harbor Gondola was on hand to tell about his popular gondola cruises, and dragon boat members were at The Club to sign up new team members.
And oh, yes: members of The Club @ the Boatyard got to enjoy a glass of wine while resting their feet from arduous Girls Night Out shopping along the waterfront. While sipping and relaxing, Club members also got to enter their name in a drawing for three exciting prizes at the boatyard. The winners were drawn last week and are:
- Melinda Johnson: A gondola ride for two with Gig Harbor Gondola
- Susie Ross: A night in The Guesthouse @ the Boatyard
- Melanie Muilenberg: A night on The White Lion guest yacht in our marina
Gondola winner Melinda Johnson is a new member of The Club @ the Boatyard and is looking forward to “date night” with her husband on a relaxing gondola cruise around the harbor. She emailed her comments and the two photos on this page from her Girls Night Out experience.
“We’re relatively new to Gig Harbor, so it will be a wonderful way to enjoy the waterfront!” she wrote about winning the gondola prize.
“I’m looking forward to a date night with my husband Chris. This was my second year of attending Girls Night Out and we had a fantastic time strolling through all the shops. We also thoroughly enjoyed the chair massages at the marina. That’s me sitting at the table. My sister Sonja is standing by the sign. (In photo at top.) We are also two new members (of The Club at) the marina!”
Welcome to The Club @ the Boatyard, Melinda, Sonja and all of our other new members. Be sure to watch your email for notices of our amazing events here at The Club @ the Boatyard. There’s always something fun happening @ the boatyard!
