Customer Appreciates Boatyard Crew

A satisfied customer delivered a refreshing gift of appreciation to Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard last week for the “first class work” done on his boat.

The Gig Harbor sailboat owner, who asked that his name not be used, brought an assortment of beer and wine to the marina to show his gratitude for the quality bottom service he received from the boatyard crew.

“A big thank you to all the employees at Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard,” he and his wife wrote in a card accompanying the beverages. “Especially Doug (Terrian, paint supervisor) and his crew and the two Marks for transforming (our boat) from ablative to hard bottom paint. They did a fantastic job.”

He added to his appreciation in a follow-up email about his gift.

“I much appreciate the work done and how friendly and considerate all the employees are that we come into contact with. And above all, they do really first class work.”
