It’s “Fill the FISH Tank” Food Drive time during a trio of fun summer events at Skansie Brothers Park this week.
Bring 3 Cans of Non-Perishables for ‘Fill the FISH Tank’ Food Drive
The food drive organized by Gig Harbor Peninsula FISH Food Bank & Community Services takes place during the Beatniks concert on Tuesday, the Waterfront Farmers Market on Thursday and Family Fun Movie Night on Friday.
Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard will have boxes for collecting non-perishable food items for FISH at our membership drive party — already full to the brim with RSVPs, says Hospitality Manager Danielle Taylor — at The Club @ the Boatyard during the Beatniks concert on July 18.
Be sure to bring your three cans of food when you come to see the hottest band of the Summer Sounds at Skansie concert series. Or, donate $5 to Gig Harbor Peninsula FISH and get a raffle ticket for a drawing to be held on July 21.
So far, raffle prizes include Seahawks tickets, a gift certificate to Salish Lodge and an assortment of nice items from Tickled Pink, Thai Hut and For the Love of Spice.
More raffle items are coming in this week so come down to the park and help fill the FISH tank.
