This striking Cobalt 36 is on the yard for first-time bottom paint. Doug Terrian, the paint lead at Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard, and Mark Sorgenfrei, from the boatyard paint shop, got the cruiser coated and protected this week.

Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard is Tops for Bottom Paint

First, they struck a waterline, sanded and applied an epoxy coat, which primes for better bottom paint adhesion, waterproofs and aids blister prevention.  The experience coatings team also painted the trim tabs and outdrives before applying protective bottom paint.
