Food Trolley Fare Coming Soon to Gig Harbor Marina

The wait is almost over! The target date is early April for the opening of JW @ The Boatyard. Our new food trolley run by the fabulous JW restaurant, will soon be serving up delicious Northwest fare at the boatyard entrance just steps off Harborview Drive.

Get ready for irresistible aromas to be wafting from the red trolley at Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard. Mouth-watering favorites will soon be available for enjoying at the picnic tables or to take on your walk along the harbor:  Fish & chips, salmon chowder, blackened fish, chicken or vegetarian tacos, fried chicken BLTs, bratwurst and Portuguese sausage — plus kid-friendly choices from the Little Deck Hands menu — are just some of the tempting offerings being planned.

Marina owner and general manager Ron Roark said a target date of April 1 has been set for the opening of JW @ The Boatyard, Gig Harbor’s Food Trolley. That would be perfect timing for the annual Paddlers Cup, operating out of Skansie Brothers Park April 2-3. The annual paddling competition sponsored by the Gig Harbor Canoe & Kayak team will be taking place conveniently near the food trolley at Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard. JW @ The Boatyard is  set to be open seven days a week from 11:30 a.m. to dusk.
