Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard for Installation Work

This classic Stone Horse 23-design sailboat came to Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard this week for some needed installation work. The skilled crew at the downtown boatyard will be installing a new cockpit scupper, vital for draining water from the eight-foot cockpit, and a new transducer for the boat’s sonar system.

The experienced marine team at Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard will also be taking care of some mast work for the sloop’s owner by aligning the mainsail track on the mast.  Then, the team at Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard will install the wooden name plaque on the sloop, whose classic lines were first designed in 1931 in the tradition of the small working vessels along the New England coast.
