Gondola Cruises from Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard

There’s something new on the harbor this fall – and it is certain to be music to your ears. A Venetian gondola, complete with a singing gondolier, is now open for cruises out of Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard.
John Synco, a new resident of Gig Harbor as of last spring, is the singing gondolier who started his business, Gig Harbor Gondola, just a few weeks ago and has been rowing passengers on relaxing, serenaded cruises around the harbor ever since. His authentic wooden gondola, Nelly, is conveniently moored at Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard, where his unique Italian-inspired cruises have the enthusiastic support of marina General Manager Ron Roark.

“It makes me very happy to be here,” said Synco as prepared the 36-foot Nelly for passengers due to walk down the dock at Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard any minute. “Ron has helped me so much and was very accepting of me and excited to have me here. I’m just trying to do a good thing for the community and people have told me so many times that I’m doing such a good thing.” Be sure to check out the singing gondolier’s contact information on this Gig Harbor Marina website under Events and then Vendors.
