Enjoy Fall’s Beauty @ The Boatyard
Autumn on Puget Sound is a beautiful time of year. Tranquil-harbor mornings, brilliant fall color dappling the shoreline and warm afternoons slipping into stunning sunsets make an enticing last call to the water before winter.
Come enjoy fall’s splendor with a getaway at Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard. A stay on Eagle, one of our exciting Fleet Suites @ the Boatyard, puts you right at the heart of everything special about fall in the Pacific Northwest.
Our beautiful Fleet Suite guest yachts are unique floating inns moored right here in our marina on idyllic Gig Harbor bay. Eagle is a gorgeous 53-foot Vic Franck-designed yacht that was custom-built for musician Steve Miller in 1979 and now it awaits your stay in Gig Harbor.
‘Fly Like an Eagle’ on Yacht Built for Steve Miller
This special yacht features an en suite master stateroom, a V-berth, a daybed and plenty of space for luxuriating on the harbor in comfort. Eagle‘s master stateroom is located mid-ship with a queen-size bed and head (bathroom). The bow’s V-berth features two full-size, angled beds and a second head. The boat comfortably sleeps four adults in the two staterooms, plus two more on the daybed up in the helm area for overnight accommodations for a maximum of six people.
Feel the nostalgia in Franck’s legendary craftsmanship of the single-level floor plan, the wide open salon and galley and the comfortable bridge with a retractable sunroof.
The fully stocked galley (kitchen) has all new appliances, ice maker and beautiful quartz counter tops. The galley is open to the spacious salon and bar area with large windows affording gorgeous views of the harbor and Mt. Rainier.
The living area features an entertainment system with a smart TV, PS4 video game console, high-speed Internet, piano keyboard and custom surround-sound designed by none other than Steve Miller himself. The back sun deck is a perfect spot for relaxation and enjoying the breathtaking harbor views.
