It’s All in a Name for ‘Suite Dreams’

Suite Dreams

Guest Yacht Gets Elegant New Name by Local Artist

Our popular guest yacht Suite Dreams got her new name this week and the elegant lettering is certainly worthy of King Neptune’s blessing.

The demanding Roman god of the sea was appeased earlier this summer by an official renaming ceremony changing our “floating inn’s” name from the White Lion to Suite Dreams. Now the Ponderosa 42 is sporting her beautiful new name designed by local graphic artist Margaux Serock.

Suite Dreams

Serock, of Margaux Marine Graphics in Gig Harbor, applied her classy design to the port side and stern of Suite Dreams on Wednesday morning. Next, the crew here at Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard will turn the boat around in her slip so Margaux can do the starboard side.

Overnight visitors on Suite Dreams have consistently awarded five-star reviews to this first, very popular vessel of our Fleet Suites @ the Boatyard guest yachts. This spacious, two-stateroom/two-bathroom yacht moored in our marina sleeps six and features gorgeous views of Mount Rainier and the scenic harbor.

Suite Dreams

Guests enjoy relaxing on the comfortable sun deck with its convenient wet bar, the covered fly bridge for an elevated view of harbor sights, and the roomy salon with well-appointed galley. Then, of course, there’s the main deck that is oh-so perfect for sun-bathing and people-watching.

Come stay with us at Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard. Your unique overnight experience on the water is waiting for you on Suite Dreams.
