The Gig Harbor Canoe & Kayak Team enjoyed a holiday party at The Club @ The Boatyard on Dec. 22, amid glowing Christmas trees and delicious buffet offerings.

Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard hosted the Christmas party for the competitive paddling team and their parents at the marina’s harborside venue.  Hospitality manager Danielle Taylor catered the event, which included macaroni and cheese, hot dogs, potato salad, assorted fruit and Christmas cookies.

Marina owner and general manager Ron Roark spoke to the room filled with paddlers and their families, pledging ongoing support of the program. Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard offers space for the team to store their canoes and kayaks.
