Northwest Maritime Academy @ Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard Jan. 7, 3 – 5:30 p.m.
In the event of a sudden cardiac arrest would you know what to do if someone collapsed in front of you? Would you know how to use a public access AED (Automated External Defibrillator) that you see mounted in stores and public buildings? At our free CPR awareness class you will learn how to use an AED and CPR together.
This non-certification awareness class is being offered by Northwest Response, the Northwest Maritime Academy and Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard. This is a great opportunity to learn valuable CPR skills and to learn how to use a private or public access Automated External Defibrillator (AED). There are only 24 seats available, so register soon at Northwest Response Free CPR Class.
Notes about this class:
- This is a free community event and anyone is welcome to attend with on-line registration. Sorry, no walk-in’s.
- This is not for certification in CPR/AED. This is an awareness class only ~ no certifications. If you need a CPR/AED Certificate, certified courses are found on the Northwest Response Registration page.
- Mature children, preferably 12 years and older, are welcome to attend.
