Gig Harbor Marina and Boatyard in Gig Harbor, WA is seeking full time applicants for our electrical and yacht systems departments. Specific skills would include experience and proficiency in all aspects of marine wiring and installations including 120/240V AC, 12/24/32V DC, panels, generators, battery and charging systems, heating systems, marine electronics, navigation systems, and other systems found on today’s yachts. Other skills including knowledge of engines, engine controls, shafts and props, steering and light mechanical are a plus.

Gig Harbor is home to 1000 boats and we are the only full service boatyard in the area. We enjoy an excellent reputation and therefore our business is booming. We have more work than we can handle. We have solid ownership and an excellent crew of professionals in a beautiful part of Puget Sound.

The ideal applicant will have/be:

* Previous professional experience working in a boat yard or yacht service operation

* Multiple skillsets

* Good personal tool selection

* Excellent clean work habits, organizational and communication skills

* Exceptional attention to detail, multitasking capabilities

* Team player, work well with others

* Practical boating experience

* Valid WA driver’s license and reliable transportation
