Greater Gig Harbor Foundation Hosts Cinco de Mayo at The Club @ the Boatyard

There is no need to go south of the border for a fiesta. Come to The Club @ the Boatyard for Cinco de Mayo and celebrate at the second annual “Community Myxer — ¡Myx’o de Mayo!”

The festive evening by the Greater Gig Harbor Foundation brings the community together for music by Budapest West, delicious south of the border-inspired aperitivos, canapés and street foods, fine wine, local brews and signature ‘ritas sponsored by Heritage Distilling Co.

“Join in the fun as we honor extraordinary people, share transformative projects and reflect on works of building, bridging and enriching our greater peninsula community,” invites the Greater Gig Harbor Foundation.

The Evening ~ Friday, May 5

Cinco de MayoMyx’o de Mayo Fiesta begins @ 6:00 p.m:

  • Cocktails, Heavy Hors d’oeuvres, Music & Myxing
  • Community Spirit Awards Presented – 7:15
    • Keynote Presenter: John Hogan
  • More Live Music, Myxing & Dancing – 8:00 to 10:00
  • Fiesta in a Wheelbarrow Raffle – 9:00
    *Guaranteed value $500

Five (cinco) Community Spirit micro-grants will be awarded during the evening for projects that impact the community in one or more of the Foundation’s five core areas: arts & culture, education, parks & environment, recreation, and social capital.

Celebrate Your Community!

Come celebrate at The Club @ the Boatyard. Live music by Budapest West, dancing, delicious taquitos, tacos, stuffed sopapillas and more by Toro Leon, with local brews, wines and signature margaritas sponsored by Heritage Distilling Co.
