It’s Time for Trick or Treating Fun in Downtown Gig Harbor
Come down to the Gig Harbor waterfront for some howling good Trick or Treat fun this Halloween. Downtown businesses will be handing out candy to kids of all ages from 3 to 6 p.m. on Oct. 31.
Presented by the Gig Harbor Downtown Waterfront Alliance, “Trick or Treat in the Harbor” is always a popular — and off-the-charts cute — family event, drawing hundreds of ghosts and goblins, princesses and pets to the downtown area.
One of the biggest draws of all is our own “boatload of treats” at the entrance to the boatyard on Harborview Drive. Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard’s hospitality team and front office crew will again have The Club @ the Boatyard’s appetizer dinghy filled to the gunwales with a pirate’s booty of goodies and toys.
So, folks, come be part of the fun on the waterfront with Trick or Treat in the Harbor. And if you’re wondering how to fit dinner into this busy evening, no worries — grab a bite to eat at the Trolley @ the Boatyard. There are lots of delicious choices for every ghost and goblin.
Road closures will be in effect from 2 to 6:30 p.m. on Halloween to help provide safe Trick or Treating in the downtown business area:
Gig Harbor Police will close Harborview Drive (between Soundview Drive and Rosedale Street) and Pioneer Way (between Tarabochia and Harborview Drive) on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2018.
