Riding High After Seattle Boat Show

We are riding high here at Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard after our successful run at the Seattle Boat Show last week.
We enjoyed a very good cruise at the annual boat expo, thanks to all of you who visited our booth. We are so glad you stopped by to see all the exciting things happening here at the boatyard, says our Managing Director, Ron Roark (pictured above).
“We thank everyone for stopping by to see us at the Seattle Boat Show,” he said. “We look forward to seeing all of you who talked to Mark, Tom, Danielle and myself. We’ll see you next year and in the yard.”

Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard Riding High After Great Boat Show Run
Yard Manager Mark Lindeman is very pleased with the positive feedback received from visitors to Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard’s booth. He is busy scheduling boat service and maintenance from interested customers at the boat show.
The West coast’s largest boat expo, the Seattle Boat Show, Indoors + Afloat, ran from Jan. 27 through Feb. 4 at CenturyLink Event Center and on South Lake Union. Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard’s crew was at the ready to share with visitors all the ship-shape services and amenities available at the boatyard:
- Our top quality marine service and repair as the only full-service boatyard in Gig Harbor
- Our “first cabin” hospitality experiences, including our popular The Club @ The Boatyard event venue on the waterfront, our stunning Guesthouse @ the Boatyard getaway suite, and our Fleet Suite @ the Boatyard, the White Lion guest yacht
- The full docket of maritime trainings and captain’s license courses offered here at the Northwest Maritime Academy

The boatyard crew was also kept busy at the show signing up new members to The Club @ the Boatyard. At least 300 new members signed up and put their name in a drawing for a free boat haulout or a free night on the White Lion. (Watch for a blog with a video of the drawing.)
John Synco, the singing gondolier from Gig Harbor Gondola, was also on hand to talk about his relaxing harbor cruises aboard Nelly. The authentic Venetian gondola is moored right here in the our marina for easy access to this special harbor tour.
In the wake of our great run at this year’s show, planning has already begun for our booth at next year’s Seattle Boat Show.
“We enjoyed a very successful show because of you, our valued customers,” said Boatyard Manager Mark Lindeman.
