A Farewell Message from Second Wave
Marine Repair & Consignment Store Closes its Doors June 15
In an unfortunate sign of the times, Second Wave managers have decided to permanently close the marine consignment store in Gig Harbor. Store Manager Gary Ford made the announcement in the following letter:
“To our customers, vendors, consigners and friends,
After 17 years in Ballard and two years in Gig Harbor, unfortunately, due to the economic impact of COVID-19, Second Wave @ the Boatyard has been forced to close its doors. June 15 marks Second Wave’s two-year anniversary and unfortunately that is when we will be waving goodbye to Gig Harbor.
If you have consigned with us, please contact Manager Gary Ford to pick up your items.
Many of you have suggested that we donate our unsold items to charity, which we are happy to do after July 31 if they have not been picked up.
We at Second Wave would not have been able to open the doors to support all of you with great boat parts. We are pulling product off the shelves and advise our clients to pick up their products as soon as possible.
We thank all of you for supporting Second Wave and hope to see you out on the water.”
Manager, Second Wave
