Enjoy Popular Summer Sounds at Skansie Concerts in Comfort at Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard

When the Summer Sounds at Skansie waterfront concert series gets rolling next month, you could take in the tunes from a comfortable vantage point just across the park. Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard offers two fantastic options for enhancing your concert experience with the spacious Club @ the Boatyard and the beautiful Guesthouse @ the Boatyard.

  • Book The Club @ the Boatyard for your own private viewing party with friends and family. Be right in the heart of the action, yet have a welcome retreat space from the crowd.
  • Or, you can really be above the fray with an overnight stay upstairs in the gorgeous Guesthouse @ the Boatyard. With its comfortable outdoor seating and private decks overlooking the concert stage — not to mention the scenic harbor — this two-bedroom, two-bath guesthouse is the ideal location on concert nights.

From June 26 through Aug. 13, concert-goers are treated to free live music ranging from pop and rock dance tunes to country and blues favorites. Concerts run from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Chairs can be set up on the lawn after 3 p.m. on the day of event.

As if you need any further nudge, see what recent visitors had to say in their 5-Star review about their stay at The Guesthouse @ the Boatyard:

“Highly recommend this unique location! The Guesthouse @ the Boatyard was an excellent place for us to retreat to during our daughter’s graduation from the University of Puget Sound. It is spacious and very well appointed with everything we needed.

Very tastefully decorated with comfortable beds, good towels and lovely gathering areas inside and out. (Hospitality Manager) Danielle is very responsive and helpful.”  – Arrival date: May 17, 2019

You should add Wounded Mic to your 2020 Summer Sounds. They are a local group and they’re awesome. I have absolutely no affiliation with them. I had the pleasure of hearing them play and they know what they’re doing. Plus they’re just a bunch of great local guys.
