Water Tank Replacement

Thirsty Duck is having her water needs quenched at Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard this week.

The 50-foot Sea Ray is in the marina for a water tank replacement after her owner noticed her tanks were leaking.

Carl Conner, yacht rigger and expert fiberglass laminator at Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard, is leading the installation project. He removed wall panels and opened up Thirsty Duck’s floor to access the tank. Now he’s drilling out the foam packing that surrounds and supports the water tank so he can remove it.

Next, he’ll install the new water tank and replace wall panels and flooring to restore the handsome Sea Ray to her usual glory.
