The next exciting addition coming to Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard recently got approved and it’s just one more reason to come to the boatyard: Phase 2 of The Club @ the Boatyard, a wonderful waterfront bar, got the city go-head and will get under way soon.
Keep watching this blog for updates as construction gets going on The Bar @ the Boatyard, or The Terrace, or Patio — we haven’t decided yet what we’ll call it, but it’s sure to be a hit. It’s going to be a beautiful outdoor bar, with some covered seating, too, at the end of building housing The Club @ the Boatyard. This exciting new waterfront terrace will be just steps from the harbor with views of Skansie Brothers Park, the Skansie Netshed and, of course, the marina and scenic harbor.
New Waterfront Bar Planned as Phase 2 of The Club @ the Boatyard
The bar will be open to members of The Club — which means everyone (that’s you) for a mere dollar a year. It’s very simple: you’ll be able to pay your dollar membership the first time you come down to the boatyard for sipping along the harbor and that’s all you’ll need to do to enjoy this relaxing new oasis.
Terrace, Patio — We Aren’t Sure What to Call it Yet, But it’s Sure to be a Hit
So, imagine the parking area pictured at the top of this page transformed into an inviting, vibrant place of refreshment along the waterfront. Who knows? Maybe some sand for a barefoot bar. Probably not, since we aren’t in the tropics, but it’s fun to imagine. More and more, Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard really is at the heart of it all.
