Gig Harbor’s Waterfront Farmers Market Returns for the 2019 Season on June 6
Skansie Brothers Park is the place to be on Thursdays throughout the summer in Gig Harbor. The downtown farmers market is back for the season, open every Thursday beginning June 6 and running through Aug. 29 — except for July 4.
Organized by the Gig Harbor Downtown Waterfront Alliance, the Waterfront Farmers Market has a lot of “new” going on this summer. Lots of new vendors, new farms, new processors, new hot food vendors and much more, say organizers in their newsletter.
Enjoy relaxing afternoons strolling through the booths of farm-fresh produce, brilliant cut flowers, specialty products and many tantalizing tastes and aromas.
Of course, some of the best food along the waterfront is right next to the market at the Trolley @ the Boatyard. Swing by and pick up a fantastic Aloha Grilled Mahi Sandwich or Dungeness Crab & Shrimp and head over to the park.

Another Red Trolley Helps You Get Around Gig Harbor This Summer
The Downtown Waterfront Alliance is grateful for its partnership with the City of Gig Harbor in bringing this popular summer tradition to the community. It just happens to pair very nicely with another tradition the Alliance started: the Pierce Transit (PT) Trolley shuttle service.
This convenient public transit trolley provides service between the historic downtown Gig Harbor waterfront district, Harbor Hill and the Uptown shopping district. Read more about routes and stops at PT Trolley Gig Harbor
